Garden of Entropy
Hello there. Welcome to the Garden of Entropy. My name is MrEntropy and I will be your host. Honestly, though, that's not my name. It's just what I call myself. Back in the old, ancient days of online computing it was common to have a nickname, or a 'handle'. It stemmed from the even ancienter days of CB radio.
I realize that teenagers and kids think they created the Internet, but the truth is that there are a lot of us "oldtimers" out there. We've been using computers since before there was a wide-spread Internet (and in some cases, before there was an Internet). We used devices called 'modems' to call BBS' and leave messages, or read messages, or download and upload files.
And now we are here, forgotten, left to rock on our virtual porches and watch the traffic stream past.
Anyway, being an old 'SysOp' I wanted a place where I could play around on-line. Practice my HTML, CSS, and whatever else. Maybe create a place for people to hang out if they ever managed to find it (like Tanelorn). Feel free to poke around. Stick around, if you like.
There's not much new. The forums and pictures have been upgraded. Hopefully they still work. I also added Elgg. I don't know what it is, but you can check it out at the GoEBook link. Um, have fun with it, whatever it is. You all know me, I'm pretty lax about stuff. Okay, very few of you know me. Practically nobody knows me. Anyway, go for it.
